& Summer would like to welcome you to the family-run Goldcroft Inn.
The present
building dates back to the 18th Century, but is probably built on a much older foundation, quite likely to have
been an old Coaching Inn due to the fact that there was once ample stabling accommodation.
The Inn is situated on the edge of Goldcroft Common, inside the original
Roman Encampment. The passage of time has seen the Goldcroft Inn undergo two
extensions to provide refreshment once to the original weary travellers and now to new customers alike! The beautiful beer garden to the rear of the property and the original flagstones in the public bar, are
the remains of the initial estate.
